Prim-Ed Publishing, the number one provider of educational resources covering all areas of the primary curriculum, is delighted to have donated more than €4,500 worth of reading material to Our Lady’s Hospital School. Co-located with Children's Health Ireland (CHI) at Crumlin, Our Lady’s Hospital School provides education for children and adolescents who are inpatients, allowing them to continue their studies for the duration of their stay in hospital.

Responding to today’s announcement, Sean Sheehan, Sales Director at Prim-Ed Publishing says, “For over 20 years, Prim-Ed Publishing has been working with teachers to provide tailored resources to meet the very specific needs of pupils in Irish classrooms, and we are confident that our fiction and non-fiction books will be of huge value to the pupils at Our Lady’s Hospital School. This time of year can be extremely difficult for young people who are in hospital. With that in mind, the team at Prim-Ed Publishing were thankful to have had the opportunity to donate these educational resources to the school, and bring a smile to the faces of these children this Christmas”.

The books donated to Our Lady’s Hospital School are suitable for children aged 4–16 years old, and include titles such as The Ugly Duckling, Treasure Island, Othello and many more popular titles.

Fergal McNamara, Principal of Our Lady’s Hospital School adds Our Lady’s Hospital School would like to thank Prim-Ed Publishing for their generous donation of readers to our pupils. In our context, it is a real luxury to have a wealth of reading material that we can gift to our pupils. The books are beautifully illustrated and engaging which is essential for those who might be struggling with low energy and motivation. The pupils here in CHI at Crumlin will really benefit from this kind donation”.
