These workbooks are fantastic. I use them in learning support as a ready-made form of assessment. The level of repetition is just right and reinforces concepts in an easy manner. They compliment the class teachers' work and very quickly highlight areas/,concepts that require further attention. They can form part of child's self assessment folio also.

New Wave Mental Maths are used throughout the school. It covers all strands daily and there is repetition of types of questions weekly. A fantastic resource covering the whole maths curriculum. Children really benefit from daily practice of all the strands. Overall, very useful.

The children benefit from the daily practice as it focuses on and revises key concepts and skills in all strands. The tasks get more challenging as the year progresses and thus enables the teacher to identify areas that need further attention. The children enjoy the daily practice and become increasingly confident in their work as they can see their progress and gain more practice in Key areas. An excellent workbook that should be in all schools !!!!

Mental maths is an excellent, fun way to revise all of the concepts each evening. It is laid out very clearly and the children are familiar with the layout. It is an excellent solution for homework

Excellent workbook with daily practice to reinforce Maths concepts. Pupils encounter a variety of questions to help them revise key concepts. Daily tests are quick and very worthwhile do with a class or learning support group. Children grow in confidence as the weeks progress as similar questions are repeated but also more challenging as the year progresses. We use the programme in all classes from 1st to 6th.
